Cao Cao unified northern China and was the strongest. The most difficult thing was for Liu Bei. From living under the fence to occupying Jingzhou, seizing Xichuan, and fighting in Hanzhong, he grew and grew step by step.

Since the Battle of Chibi, the world has gradually become divided into three parts. Cao Cao unified northern China and was the strongest. Sun Quan commanded six counties and eighty-one states in Jiangdong, eyeing the land of Jingxiang. The most difficult one was Liu Bei. From living under the fence to occupying Jingzhou, seizing Xichuan, fighting Hanzhong, he grew and grew step by step. Not only must they fight to the death with Cao Cao, but they must also always be on guard against Jiangdong coming to attack Jingzhou. But as it grew bigger step by step, its strength also grew step by step, especially the addition of General Nishikawa, which gave Liu Bei the strength to dominate the world.

Let’s take a look at the capabilities of the 24 generals of the Shu Kingdom and what their endings will be like:

1, Guan Yu

Guan Yu is the number one general of the Shu Kingdom and ranks first among the Five Tiger Generals. Since he started his army with Liu Bei, he has not had to endure hardships. He has been guarding the left and right, unswervingly determined, and has been revered as the "Martial Saint" by future generations for his unparalleled loyalty and martial arts. Guan Yu's early achievements were remarkable. Wen Jiu killed Hua Xiong , beheaded Yan Liang and punished Wen Chou, traveled a thousand miles alone and rode alone, and found his brother thousands of miles away. In the later period, Changsha fought against Huang Zhong and Fancheng fought against and Pound . The seven armies were flooded and shocked China. For a time, they were unparalleled.

It is a pity that Guan Yu was arrogant and despised Jiangdong Lu Meng. Lu Xun and others were attacked by Xiangfan when Lu Meng crossed the river in white and attacked Jingzhou. Guan Yu was surrounded by enemies from both sides and was captured by Pan Zhang's deputy general Ma Zhong when he broke through Maicheng. Guan Gong preferred death to surrender and was killed by Sun Quan.

2, Zhang Fei

Zhang Fei is the third eldest son of the sworn family in Taoyuan. He has a "leopard head and ringed eyes, a voice like thunder, and strength like a galloping horse." Zhang Fei shouted at the end of the Changban Bridge to scare off Cao Cao's millions of troops. Bajun Yishi Yan Yan, Zhang He was defeated three times in the Battle of Brazil, showing the demeanor of a famous general. But Zhang Fei was cruel and merciless. On the eve of Liu Bei's eastern expedition, he was killed by Fan Qiang Zhang Da for whipping the soldiers.

3, Zhao Yun

Zhao Yun was one of the early generals under Liu Bei. He surrendered in Woniu Mountain on the eve of the Battle of Guandu. Zhao Yun met Liu Bei very early, shook hands and said goodbye with tears. Zhao Yun's loyalty is unparalleled. He rescued Adou, Mrs. Gan, Jian Yong and others at Changban slope seven in and seven out, and they were highly valued by Liu Bei. In the Battle of Hanshui , Zhao Yun shot Zhang He Xu Huang and others in fear. Because Zhao Yun was strong in martial arts and steady in his work, he was active until Zhuge Liang's first Northern Expedition. It is a pity that Zhao Yun died of illness at home before the second Northern Expedition.

5, Huang Zhong

Huang Zhong was a general who appeared in the Battle of Changsha. He fought with Guan Yu for "more than a hundred rounds" with no outcome, and his archery skills were unparalleled in the world. He shot Guan Yu's helmet with arrows and forced Guan Yu to retreat. After Huang Zhong surrendered to Liu Bei, he became stronger and stronger. When he entered Sichuan, he showed his prowess and won the title of the three armies. In the battle of Dingjun Mountain, he killed General Cao and Xia Houyuan , and was named the Five Tiger General for his merits.

During Liu Bei's Eastern Expedition, two young generals, Guan Xing and Zhang Bao, worked bravely and made meritorious service. Huang Zhong refused to obey his elders and went to the battle to confront General Wu. While chasing Pan Zhang, he was ambushed by Soochow and was hit by a cold arrow from Ma Zhong under his arm. He died in the camp that night. He became the third tiger general to be killed in battle after Guan Yu and Zhang Fei.

6, Ma Chao

Ma Chao is the son of Xiliang Prefect Ma Teng. After Ma Teng was killed, Ma Chao joined Han Sui to openly oppose Cao Cao. In the Battle of Tongguan, Ma Chao defeated Zhang He, Yu Ban and others, and almost killed Cao Cao by cutting off his beard and abandoning his robe. It's a pity that Ma Chao was useless and was defeated by Cao Cao with countermeasures . He defected to Zhang Lu in Hanzhong but was restrained everywhere, and finally had no choice but to submit to Liu Bei. Ma Chao's troops marched into Chengdu and became Liu Bei's hero in seizing Sichuan. It's a pity that Ma Chao was still frightened in Shu, and died of depression in the second year after Liu Bei became emperor.

7, Wei Yan

In the battle of Changsha, Wei Yan saw that Han Xuan was cruel and unkind, so he resolutely saved Huang Zhong with his sword, beheaded Han Xuan, and opened the city gate to welcome Guan Yu into the city. Later, he and Huang Zhong became generals and followed Liu Bei to Sichuan to fight and made countless achievements. After taking Hanzhong, Wei Yan was promoted to the prefect of Hanzhong. During the Zhuge Liang era, Wei Yan fought in the south and north and became the number one general in Shu.It's a pity that Wei Yang was too proud and didn't know how to protect himself. Zhuge Liang was killed by Yang Yi after his death.

8, Li Yan

Li Yan appeared in the Battle of Mianzhu, fighting veteran Huang Zhong for "forty or fifty rounds" with no outcome. Later, due to political needs, he was arranged by Liu Bei to be a lonely and important minister, and stayed at Yong'an to resist Soochow. He could have worked with Zhuge Liang to assist the Han Dynasty, but he was greedy and failed to raise military supplies during Zhuge Liang's Northern Expedition and tricked Zhuge Liang into withdrawing his troops. In the end, he was demoted to a commoner by Zhuge Liang. After Zhuge Liang died of illness, Li Yan felt hopeless and died of depression.

9, Guan Ping

Guan Ping is the adopted son of Guan Gong. He worshiped Guan Yu as his adopted father in Guandingzhuang, and then followed Guan Yu in his campaigns in the north and south. In the battle of Xiangfan , he was even more powerful than the brave general Pound for "thirty rounds" with no outcome. During Guan Yu's battle, Guan Ping watched all directions and protected Guan Yu. It can be said that Guan Ping has grown into a unique general in Jingzhou. It's a pity that Guan Yu was defeated and Guan Ping sacrificed his life for righteousness with his father. What a pity!

10, Guan Xing

Guan Xing is the eldest son of Guan Yu. After Guan Gong was killed, he asked for orders to be a pioneer in front of Liu Bei. After becoming brothers with Zhang Bao, they showed great power during the Eastern Expedition, defeating Sun Huan , Han Dang Zhou Tai and others, and were called by Liu Bei: "The tiger father has no dog son!" During Zhuge Liang's Southern Expedition, Guan Xing and Zhang Bao stayed behind to resist Cao Wei. During the Sixth Northern Expedition, Guan Xing died of illness, and Zhuge Liang burst into tears. It was a pity that the loyal and righteous man was not allowed to live long!

11, Zhang Bao

Zhang Bao is the eldest son of Zhang Fei. He once competed with Guan Xing to compete for the vanguard in martial arts. During Liu Bei's Eastern Expedition, Zhang Bao and Guan Xing defeated the Wu army and became the main force of the Shu army. During Zhuge Liang's Northern Expedition, when Zhang Bao was chasing Guo Huai and Sun Li, he accidentally fell into a mountain stream and was seriously injured on his forehead. He died of illness soon after returning to Chengdu. When Zhuge Liang heard that Zhang Bao had died, he cried bitterly until he vomited blood and fainted.

12, Zhang Yi

Zhang Yi appeared on the stage when Zhuge Liang was marching to the south and Meng Huo was fighting with Zhu Rong's wife . Unfortunately, he and Ma Zhong were both captured. During Zhuge Liang's Northern Expedition, Zhang Ni was in the same row as Wang Ping, Zhang Yi and others. In the Jiang Wei era, Zhang Yi died in the Wei army's random arrows in order to save Jiang Wei from the encirclement.

13, Zhoucang

Zhoucang was the general whom Guan Yu took in after passing the five levels. Zhou Cang was extremely loyal and always guarded Guan Yu, never having second thoughts. During the Battle of Xiangfan, Zhou Cang even captured Pang De alive in the water, which shows his water nature. It is a pity that such a loyal man committed suicide after Guan Yu was defeated.

14, Wang Fu

When Zhuge Liang entered Sichuan, Wang Fu and others were left to assist Guan Yu in guarding Jingzhou. Although Wang Fu is not well-known, he knows the situation in Jingzhou well. First of all, it can be seen that Mi Fang , Fu Shiren , and Pan Jun are not worthy of reuse. He also suggested that Guan Yu be careful about Soochow and be careful to prevent Jingzhou from being attacked. When Guan Yu broke through Maicheng, he suggested that Guan Yu take the high road, but unfortunately Guan Yu rejected it again. After Guan Yu was killed, Wang Fu screamed and fell into the city to his death.

15, Liao Hua

When Liu Bei entered Sichuan, Liao Hua came to surrender, and Liu Bei ordered him to assist Guan Yu in guarding Jingzhou. Liao Hua and Guan Ping were the vanguard during the Battle of Xiangfan. After being defeated by Xu Huang, he followed Guan Gong and fled Maicheng. Later, he broke through and went to Shangyong Liu Feng to ask for help. After being rejected, he rode into Xichuan alone to meet Liu Bei. Liao Hua is a living fossil of the Shu Kingdom and lived until the demise of the Shu Kingdom.

17, Fu Tong

During Liu Bei's Eastern Expedition, he took Fu Tong, Feng Xi, Zhang Nan as his generals. After Lu Xun became the commander, when the company was burned down, Fu Tong was unable to break through and cursed "Wu Gou" and died in the chaos.

18, Wu Ban

Wu Ban was Zhang Fei's deputy general. After Zhang Fei's death, he followed Liu Bei in the Eastern Expedition. After the defeat of Yiling, Wu Ban was rescued by Zhao Yun. During Zhuge Liang's Northern Expedition, Wu Banduo and Wu Yi were partners. During the last Northern Expedition, Wu Ban was shot to death by random arrows from the Wei army when he burned the floating bridge.

19, Zhang Yi

Zhang Yi appeared during the Battle of Luocheng, slashed Liu Sui to death, and welcomed Liu Bei into the city. During the Jiang Wei era, Zhang Yi and Liao Hua became Shu generals and assisted Jiang Wei in his Northern Expedition. Later, when Jiang Weize rebelled against Zhong Hui, he died in the rebellion.

20, Liu Feng

Liu Feng is the adopted son of Liu Bei. He is a majestic and brave man. When he followed Liu Bei to Sichuan, he accompanied Guan Ping as a young general. After the Battle of Hanzhong, he and Mengda captured Shangyong counties. When Guan Yu was defeated in Maicheng, he believed Meng Da's slander, which led to Guan Yu being captured and killed. In the end, Liu Bei adopted Zhuge Liang's suggestion and sentenced Liu Feng to death.

21, Meng Da

Meng Da and Fazheng are both the heroes who welcomed Liu Bei to Sichuan. Unfortunately, compared with Fazheng, Meng Da is much lonely. Later, because of his slander, Liu Feng sent troops to rescue Guan Yu, and he surrendered to Cao Wei in fear of Liu Bei's questioning. Because of his talent, he was favored by Cao Pi. During Zhuge Liang's Northern Expedition, he saw the Shu army winning consecutive victories. Meng Da secretly communicated with the Shu army to rebel, and was finally eliminated by Sima Yi.

22, the son of Fu Qian

Fu Tong, was respected by Jiang Wei for his bravery during Jiang Wei's Northern Expedition. During the Battle of the Great Wall, Fu Qian killed Wei general Li Peng and captured Wang Zhen alive, which was no less brave than the "little overlord" Sun Ce.

In 263 AD, Zhong Hui launched a large-scale attack on Yang'an Pass where Fu Qian was guarding. Fu Qian wanted to wait for work and defeat the Wei army. Unexpectedly, the defender Jiang Shu took the opportunity to surrender to the Wei state and closed the city gate tightly to prevent Fu Qian from entering the city. Fu Qian had no choice but to fight back and eventually died in the rebel army.

23, Zhuge Zhan, Zhuge Shang

After Deng Ai sneaked into Yinping, the Shu Kingdom was in chaos. Zhuge Zhan was ordered to lead his army to resist the Wei army in Mianzhu. Zhuge Shang was only eighteen years old. He single-handedly defeated the two generals Deng Zhongshi and Yu, and defeated the Wei army and returned. It's a pity that Zhuge Zhan didn't know the art of war, so he was ambushed by Deng Ai and trapped in the city. Zhuge Zhan, Zhuge Shang and his son all died in the rebellion.

24, Jiang Wei

If we say who was the last general of Shu, it must be Jiang Wei and Jiang Boyue. Jiang Wei appeared during Zhuge Liang's first Northern Expedition. In the Battle of Tianshui, Jiang Wei defeated the elderly Zhao Yun and led his army to sneak attack Zhuge Liang's camp. He was called a general by Zhuge Liang. After surrendering to Zhuge Liang, Jiang Wei repeatedly planned to defeat the Wei army. After Zhuge Liang's death, Jiang Wei and Fei Yi came to power in Shu. After Jiang Wei came to power, he launched several Northern Expeditions. Unfortunately, he met Deng Ai, his lifelong enemy. The two had victories and defeats, but Jiang Wei always found it difficult to win.

In 263 AD, Deng Ai sneaked into Yinping and the Kingdom of Shu was destroyed. Jiang Wei then planned to surrender to Zhong Hui, incited Zhong Hui to rebel, and took the opportunity to restore the Han Dynasty. Unfortunately, the incident was revealed, and Jiang Wei felt helpless and committed suicide.

Summary: Judging from the endings of the above generals, few of them died. It can be seen that the Shu Kingdom is weak and has the least chance of hegemony. It also has the responsibility of reviving the Han Dynasty, so everyone is under great pressure. The reason why there are not 36 generals, but 24 generals, can also show that compared to the vast number of talents in Wei, the strength of Shu is indeed very different! As for Wang Ping, Ma Dai , Guan Suo and others did not explain the ending, so they are not included.
