Su Jiayu, born in January 1993, is an authentic Zhongshan girl. She has performed well in the army for five years. When she returned to Zhongshan, she did not lose her true qualities as a soldier. During the anti-epidemic period, she took the initiative to work on the front line.
Su Jiayu is a native of Jinzhong Village, Banfu Town, Zhongshan City. He was born in January 1993 and joined the army in September 2013. "I have longed for the military uniform and the green military camp since I was a child, and I have an incomparable yearning for the military career and military life," Su Jiayu said. In the autumn of 2013, Su Jiayu actively applied for the army as a university student. After many rounds of selection, she successfully enlisted in the army and was assigned to serve in a certain army unit and engage in telephone operations.
"Although my physical fitness was quite good before joining the army, when I first joined the army, it was a bit overwhelming at first, especially because there were more male soldiers than female soldiers in the army, and female soldiers really did not have an advantage in military training," Su Jiayu recalled. However, the girl had an unyielding determination to admit defeat. She quickly adjusted her mentality and actively devoted herself to the intense and busy training and work of the army. If you are not good at business, ask for advice; if you are not physically fit, just start a small business. After hard work, Su Jiayu's business ability and military skills came to the fore. In the recruit training that year, due to her outstanding performance, she was named " Jingwu Model", and she began to serve as the backbone of the squad leader the following year.
In 2015, Su Jiayu was selected to Beijing to participate in the military parade commemorating the 70th anniversary of the victory of the World Anti-Fascist War. She was commended by the United Military Band as a "Pacemaker for Memorizing Musical Scores" and received awards and commendations; 2 In 2018, Su Jiayu represented her unit in the first on-the-job training competition.
