Fubon's strongman just finished the autumn training a few days ago. On the 27th, the whole team came to Xinzhuang Baseball Stadium to hold a fan thanksgiving meeting. Team leader Lin Huawei said that during this autumn training this year, the team will move to Daojiang School of Science and Management , and there is a high chance of becoming a long-term training base for the team in the future. The location will be changed next year. As for the original Chiayi Municipal Baseball Stadium, the second army base, is still in the discussion stage, and see how to cooperate in the future.
Daojiang will be closed in 2021. There are 2 simple baseball stadiums on the campus, which are also abandoned. Fubon has started to use it in autumn training after sorting this year. Lin Huawei also mentioned that Daojiang has good conditions and there are many schools with all baseball teams nearby. After entering, they can cultivate more baseball experts with the school, and the local government also supports it.
During the autumn training, the team stayed in a nearby hotel in the accommodation part. Lin Huawei said that it is not ruled out that they directly use Daojiang’s original dormitory in the future. "It has not been decided yet, and we have to discuss it again. This is in line with government policies and make good use of idle space." Currently, Daojiang also has heavy training rooms, medical facilities, locker rooms and simple restaurants.
As for the Chiayi Baseball Stadium where the Second Army was originally located, the team will continue to talk to the local government to see how to cooperate in the future, but it is confirmed that the spring training will not be in Chiayi City, but will be moved to the army. Lin Huawei said that the spring training will be held next year in Daojiang and will start from January 11. The team will have five days off during the Lunar New Year and will continue to resume training.
