parade travels 2.5 mile between 77 West Street and Central Park West Side in Manhattan and Macy's Department Store in Herald Square in Manhattan, with 15 huge character balloons, 28 floats, 36 novel and traditional inflatable balloons, more than 800 clowns, 10 military bands and 9 performance groups, numerous music stars and unique Santa.

Macy's Thanksgiving Parade Producer Jordan Dabby told Fox Business Channel: "This is so exciting and has been brewing for a year. We are extremely proud of what we have achieved last year, but having the audience line up to watch on the parade route and in our stands is something we are eagerly looking forward to."

Macy's limits the total number of people participating in the march to between 800 and 1,600. All volunteers and staff are required to be vaccinated, wear masks, and, according to their roles, wear additional protective equipment, and are also socially isolated.

Macy's and the Thanksgiving Parade production team both stressed that the celebrations are a gift to the people of New York City and the millions of viewers who watch each year. And Darby said: He hopes that no matter where he lives in the United States, people will be happy with this event.

Five new floats will debut, including the Peacock's Birds of a Feather Stream Together, the Louisiana Tourism Department's Celebration Gator, the Colossal Wave of Wonder at the Calahari Resort and Conference, the Magic Meets the Sea of Disney Cruises and Heinz's Gravy Pirates float.
