"For us, the best way to fulfill our mission is to treat more patients and complete foreign aid medical tasks well." China's 25th batch of military medical expert teams to assist Zambia bear in mind the mission and carefully treat patients in foreign countries, fully demonstrating the excellent skills and good image of Chinese military doctors.
Late one night, a rapid knock on the door broke the tranquility of the hospital. After the doctor on duty opened the door, Li Weina saw a Zambian woman with bloodshot and swollen eyes standing outside the door. "Why did you see a doctor when you are so serious?" Li Weina guided her into the clinic and asked carefully.
"I just felt my eyes itchy before, and I didn't care. It suddenly hurts a lot tonight." The patient said anxiously.
After examination, it was found that the patient had worsened due to glaucoma and was at risk of blindness. The expert team immediately performed surgery on her. After careful treatment, the patient recovered his health. On the day of discharge, the Zambian woman said gratefully to Livina: "Thank you, the Chinese military doctor is great!"

Since arriving in Zambia in March this year, the 25th batch of military medical expert teams have overcome difficulties such as weak basic conditions in local hospitals and severe lack of medical equipment, and have continuously optimized work processes according to local conditions, improved treatment efficiency, and treated many patients. At the same time, they also trained local interns according to their aptitude, and tried to leave a "medical team that cannot be taken away" for the local area.
"For the military medical team, training, helping and treating patients are equally important. Under the relatively difficult working and living conditions in the local area, we will continue to fulfill our mission conscientiously and strive to deliver an excellent answer." Xie Yunping, a member of the military medical team, said.
