The event is themed "Speaking about Fengshan together, praying for blessings and health together", giving full play to Nan'an City's location advantages for Taiwan and the policy advantages of pioneering the trial, actively creating a demonstration zone for cross-strait integration development between South Taiwan, promoting Guangze's traditional virtue of "loyalty, filial piety, benevolence and righteousness", enhancing the role of Fengshan culture as a bridge link between compatriots on both sides of the strait and overseas Chinese at home and abroad, and promoting exchanges and exchanges in cross-strait economic, trade, culture, tourism and other aspects to a new level.
Fengshan culture, which was born in Shishan Town, Nan'an, has a long history and has been passed down for thousands of years. Fengshan culture integrates the unique geography, history, culture and the three religions of southern Fujian. Combined with family style construction, it promotes the traditional virtues of "loyalty, filial piety, benevolence and righteousness" of Guangze, and plays an important role in actively guiding the general public to build a harmonious society and maintaining the deep emotions of overseas Chinese and compatriots from Hong Kong and Macao. It has had a profound impact on the overseas Chinese at home and abroad, especially among the countries along the Maritime Silk Road such as Malaysia, Indonesia, and Singapore. Up to now, with Fengshan Temple in Shishan, Nan'an as its ancestral courtyard, there are more than 680 temples worshipping the King of Guangze around the world. Among them, in Taiwan, King Guangze is widely regarded as the guardian god of Han compatriots. More than 300 Fengshan Temples (temples, palaces, altars, and halls) have been built in more than 20 counties and cities.
While cultural exchanges between South and Taiwan are constantly heating up, economic and trade cooperation has also reached a new level. In recent years, as the forefront of exchanges with Taiwan, Nan'an City has successively built three Taiwanese entrepreneurial parks, including Optoelectronics and Binjiang, attracting nearly 200 Taiwanese-funded enterprises to settle down. The level of industrial cooperation between the two places is also constantly improving, especially the Quanzhou Xingu Nan'an Branch Park was established in Shijing Town, the hometown of heroes, which will provide a new platform for the cooperation between the two places in semiconductor high-tech industry . In addition, Nan'an City has become an important center for mainland agricultural products trading with Taiwan. It has held 14 consecutive "Cross-Strait Agricultural Product Purchase and Ordering Conferences", with more than 5,000 Taiwanese companies participating in the exhibition. In addition, agricultural products such as Taiwan's ice-fried sea fish, breeding noon fish , betel nut and turtle eggs imported from Nan'an account for 2/3 of the total imports from mainland China, driving 420 related breeding and planting households on the island, with an area of more than 230 hectares, 25,000 tons of saury/squid fishing boats, and hundreds of thousands of grassroots farmers and fishermen have been employed by them.
