Since all the players of Brooklyn Nets have returned, they have become a better team. Kevin Durant and his team have won the last 4 games, as well as 7 of their last 9 games. Still, the recent recovery has not stopped team management from working to strengthen the roster before the playoffs.
It is reported that the Nets are negotiating with Atlanta Hawks for John Collins, and this lineup upgrade may now appear in the form of an increase in the previous field. NBA insider Ian Begley said.
Begley said: "The Nets have indeed reached a consensus with Atlanta Hawks on the John Collins issue." "It's interesting because I think the Nets need some help on the front line. Collins can certainly help them. I don't know how long the talks have been going on. But they must be engaged recently, so they need to pay close attention."
It's not clear how serious the negotiations between the Nets and the Hawks are. However, it is undeniable that Collins will be an important upgrade when the Nets want to strengthen their frontcourt. The
report also did not point out what the Nets need to give up to bring Collins to Brooklyn. Still, the Eagles’ big man has been closely linked to the news of leaving Atlanta, and it sounds like Collins is increasingly likely to join another team by the February trade deadline.
