On September 19, the 2019 19th Pingyao International Photography Exhibition was held on Pingyao Ancient City as scheduled. 4,119 photographers from 31 countries and regions gathered at Pingyao to look back on the development of photography, explore the future of images, and share the image feast.
This year's exhibition focuses on the theme of "Happiness and Struggle", with "respect" as the theme word and "light and color" as the academic theme. It has planned and launched six major sections: exhibition, transaction, forum, selection, education, and multimedia, including theme exhibition, academic exhibition, international exhibition, tribute exhibition, invitation exhibition, school exhibition, PIP gallery, multimedia image works exhibition, youth curator program, forum lecture, selection, and international photography classes in colleges and universities. There are 628 exhibitions, with a total of 12,619 works on display, distributed in 8 major exhibition areas including the diesel engine factory exhibition area and the Chenghuang Temple . Among them, there are 38 exhibitors and 103 exhibitors, and 4,644 works from 1,162 students around the world appear in Pingyao. The content of this exhibition is rich and diverse, fully reflecting the academic, professional and international concepts of the exhibition.
