Last year, there was a TV series about firefighters called "The Tears of the Vulcan", starring Wen Shenghao, Chen Tingni, Lin Bohong and Liu Guanting. It is reported that Chen Mingze, a staff member responsible for blasting special effects behind the scenes, died of acute leukemia on April 24 at the age of 39.
On April 25, Zeying Image Film Special Effects Co., Ltd. issued a document, and its founder Chen Mingze passed away on April 24.
In June last year, he was diagnosed with acute leukemia. After chemotherapy, he underwent bone marrow transplant surgery in October. During this period, he suddenly suffered from acute pneumonia. After the doctor's rescue, he survived four times of septic shock. Until the fifth septic shock occurred on April 23, he eventually lost to the disease and passed away.
It is understood that Chen Mingze founded Zeying Image Film Special Effects Co., Ltd., which has contributed explosion and flame special effects to many film and television works in recent years. During his lifetime, he hoped that Chinese-language films would also have Hollywood-level technology. Unfortunately, he died young, but his team said he would continue to move forward with his dream.
