When I was a child, I remember that my family had a distant poor relative. He was a distant cousin of my father. The family was very poor and he was not good at speaking, but he was very diligent and always couldn't rest. He often came to my house to help with work, which was very popular among our family.
He rushed to do any work when he came to my house and couldn't even sit still. He asked him to sit for a while and have a cup of tea. He said he didn't know how to drink tea, and just drink some cold boiled water when he was thirsty. I remember that when something broke in our house, he could find ways to repair it. One day the roof leaks, he can also go up to the roof to play with tiles. After repairs, he has to carry a bucket of water to test it out to see if it still leaks. Once, my pendulum clock in my house stopped. He opened the back cover of the pendulum clock, grabbed a dead cockroach, tightened the clockwork, and the pendulum clock ticked and walked again. When he found that the bicycle chain was loose and easily lost, he would help tighten it. He helped wipe the table and wash the floor when he had nothing to do, and even the cement floor at the door was clean.
So, he would come to my house regularly, not to visit relatives, but to help with housework, and to do all the work, and he would go back after finishing it. Every time my family is forced to keep him in life, and then leave after having enough food. Every time he goes back after work, he will bring some food such as food, vegetables, and other foods back. During the holidays, he would give him some gifts or money.
