The Department of Men's Department of Zhongshan Seventh Hospital and Ultrasound Department have conducted color Doppler ultrasound (CDFI) combined with penis hardness grading and cavernosal tissue elastic index examination after penis cavernosal injection. This examination can accurately reflect the hemodynamic changes of the penis and provide an objective basis for the diagnosis of various erectile dysfunctions. At present, this examination is one of the most valuable methods for diagnosing vascular ED and is considered to be the gold standard for diagnosing arterial erectile dysfunction.

Penis color ultrasound (CDFI) examination

This technology is jointly carried out by our hospital's Department of Men and the National Assisted Reproductive and Eugenic Engineering Technology Research Center. It has been confirmed that CDFI examination is one of the most valuable examination methods for the diagnosis of male erectile dysfunction. The director of the Xuanxu Army of the Department of Mens, our hospital, and deputy chief physician of ultrasound, Lin Huitong, carried out the clinical application of the elastic index determination of penis cavernosum under color ultrasound and erectile hardness. This technology is expected to provide technical support in improving the imaging diagnosis and division of erectile dysfunction and clinical selection of the best treatment measures. At present, this technology is the first to be carried out in the Pearl River Delta region.

After erectile dysfunction classification diagnosis, the best treatment plan is selected for the patient based on the final diagnosis results, and the cure rate is 91%. Currently, the main treatments for erectile dysfunction include sexual behavior therapy, drug therapy, physical therapy, surgical therapy and other gene therapy.

1 For ED patients with penile erectile hardness of level 3 to 4 or above, sexy concentrated training should be preferred, that is, treatment for local inflammation and type 5 phosphodiesterase peak inhibitor (PDE5i) treatment.

VCD therapy is suitable for older patients with vascular abnormalities, hypertension and diabetes.

3 When patients with diabetic erectile dysfunction (DMED) are not ideal for treatment with PDE5i while basic treatment, enhanced extracorporeal counterpulse physical therapy can be used to provide local blood supply to the penis, while improving the functional status of the organs in the body.
