Jiang Qichen proposed that although there are institutional differences between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait, there are far-reaching historical, cultural and blood-related connections, which are all Chinese nations. Based on this foundation, we should jointly build a prosperous future of peace, complementarity, mutual benefit and win-win results. A suitable party chairman should lead the party on the right path and bring cross-strait relations back on track. He advocated that based on the constitutional provisions of Taiwan, is based on the original " 1992 Consensus " to continue the " Common Vision of Peaceful Development Cross-Strait" reached by the leaders of the Kuomintang and the Communist Party in 2005, and promote the "ice breaking" between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait.
He said that on the issue of cross-strait relations, the Kuomintang must make clear, take action, gain the trust of the people, and help the people solve the problems. Only by increasing mutual trust between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait can the problem be solved. The most important thing is to ensure peace and security in the Taiwan Strait, and not to fall into war between the two sides.
Zhuo Boyuan said that from 2008 to 2016, cross-strait development, coexistence and prosperity, but after the Democratic Progressive Party came to power, changed the status quo of the cross-strait, abandoned the "1992 Consensus", and used "independence" to support greed, harmed Taiwan and cracked Taiwan. Only by returning to the original "1992 Consensus" can the problem of cross-strait relations be solved.
Zhang Yazhong said that the Kuomintang must first eliminate the legacy of Lee Teng-hui in the party. If he is elected as the Party Chairman, he will adhere to Mr. Sun Yat-sen's philosophy. loudly said in terms of identity, "Taiwanese are also Chinese", sets things right in history and culture, and defends the view of Chinese history.
Zhang Yazhong said that in the "1992 Consensus", both sides of the Taiwan Strait advocate adhering to one China and seeking national reunification. In the future, we should promote the end of cross-strait hostility and create cross-strait peace. He said that if the Kuomintang does not resolve the problem of cross-strait hostility, it will always be suppressed and beaten by the Democratic Progressive Party.
Zhu Lilun proposed that cross-strait relations are the top priority, and the Kuomintang must actually do it. Based on the provisions of the Party Constitution and Party Provisions, we will promote cross-strait exchanges with the "1992 Consensus". The Kuomintang’s current goal is to promote cross-strait peace and restore the communication channels, and to strengthen cross-strait social exchanges, including culture, religion, sports, economy and trade, cities, academics and other aspects.
