Former Yankees star "A-Rod" Alex Rodriguez posted a photo with Phillies head coach Rob Thomson and strike coach Kevin Long in his personal community today, which evoked memories of many people, because these three were members of the Yankees' championship in 2009.
A-ROD posted a group photo in his personal community and wrote: "I can't believe that I haven't brought the title home for 13 years. We wore blue striped shirts (Yankee jerseys)." In 2009, Thomson and Ronn were both members of the Yankee coaching team, and A-ROD was one of the main players. Now both coaches are wearing Philadelphia jerseys, while A-ROD is wearing suits to participate in sports TV programs.
The opponent that Yankees defeated in the World Series happened to be the Philadelphia. At that time, Yankees head coach was Joe Girardi, and Thomson and Ronn served as assistants. Both of them also served as Girardi's assistants this year, but Girardi was fired in June this year and missed the opportunity to appear in this photo.
The post attracted more than 10,000 netizens to like and leave a message, "Good times", "This is why the Phillies are so successful", "Please be the general manager of the Yankees."
