China has always opposed any form of official exchanges between any country and Taiwan, including the negotiation and signing of any economic and trade agreement with sovereignty and official nature. The US side should abide by the one-China principle and the three joint communiqués of China and the United States, abide by the international law and the basic norms of international relations, handle economic and trade relations with Taiwan carefully, and prevent false signals from being sent to the separatist forces of "Taiwan independence".
