In 2018, Zhou Chujie entered the Guangdong Mechanical Technician College to study , and won the gold medal in the CNC milling project of the first National Vocational Skills Competition, won the honorary titles of "National Technical Expert", "Guangdong Provincial Technical Expert", and "Guangdong Youth May Fourth Medal", and entered the national training team of the CNC milling project of the 46th World Skills Competition with the first place.

Zhou Chujie told reporters that in the CNC milling project competition, it is necessary to program and process the tool path through the computer software , then operate the CNC machine tool, use CNC milling cutter to cut the materials, and control the dimensional accuracy according to the requirements of the drawings.
Before this, Guangdong players had won the gold medal in the CNC milling event for the Chinese team for three consecutive times. Zhou Chujie, who represented the Chinese team, shouldered the heavy responsibility of winning the championship again.
"This will be a little stressful, but it is also the source of motivation, because I believe in China's CNC milling," said Zhou Chujie.
