China Taiwan Network , November 28, Shanghai News On the afternoon of November 25, the launch ceremony of the cross-strait biotechnology and medical innovation accelerator jointly initiated by the China Youth Development Federation and Huaxia Gene was grandly held in Shanghai, marking the entry of cross-strait biotechnology and medical cooperation in the Strait into a new stage.
Li Leiming, President of the Shanghai Cross-Strait Exchange Promotion Association, Zhuang Zhenwen, Vice President of the Shanghai Taiwan Compatriots Association, Wang Zheng, Chairman of the China Youth Development Federation, and Yang Guofang, Chairman of Huaxia Gene, unveiled the launch ceremony. Yang Guofang pointed out that the cross-strait biotechnology medical innovation accelerator relies on the powerful platform mechanism of the Chinese gene mother. Huaxia Gene has the independently developed gene biological laboratory . The laboratory has introduced the most cutting-edge technology in the world and is a world-class overall 100-level purification laboratory. Huaxia Gene also has many famous experts at home and abroad. Among them, the Gene Therapy Research Institute is personally dean of Professor Xue Jinglun, the first person in the gene therapy of genetic diseases in China and the doctoral supervisor of Fudan University.
Wang Zheng believes that although there are problems with cross-strait political relations, cooperation between the people and industries on both sides of the Taiwan Strait will not be interrupted, and youth exchanges and cooperation between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait will not be interrupted.
