Recently, a pedestrian was hit by a red light on the streets of Dongshan County. The accident was determined by the Dongshan County Public Security Traffic Police Department and pedestrians were fully responsible.
According to the accident report, at around 20:55 on April 20, pedestrian Liu Mouqin was crossing the road and did not pass by the traffic light (running a red light) and suddenly accelerated and crossed when the vehicle was approaching, causing a collision with a motorcycle that was turning left, causing three people to be injured to varying degrees and the vehicle was slightly damaged.
The reporter of the Guide can see from the surveillance video provided by the relevant departments: Before the accident, pedestrian Liu Mouqin was waiting in front of the zebra crossing at the intersection. Due to distractedness, Liu Mouqin, who failed to pass the intersection at the green light, suddenly ran through the intersection because the traffic light had turned red light for 3 seconds. At this time, many vehicles waiting for traffic lights at the intersection have begun to start. Then, Liu Mouqin, who was walking to the middle of the road, collided with an oncoming motorcycle.
Finally, for this accident, the public security traffic police department determined that pedestrian Liu Mouqin was fully responsible.
