 It is understood that due to the increasing declining marine fishery resources and the frequent occurrence of nearshore water pollution and fish diseases, expanding the development space of marine fishery, improving quality, reducing pollution, and developing new marine fishery aquaculture technologies and equipment, and moving to the far-reaching sea has become an inevitable choice for the development of marine fishery.

 In order to solve the "bottleneck" problems of traditional aquaculture cages in my country due to lack of energy supply, poor wind and wave resistance, and inability to carry modern aquaculture equipment, the Guangzhou Energy Research Institute has combined semi-submersible wave energy power generation technology with deep-sea aquaculture and offshore tourism based on decades of wave energy power generation research, and successfully developed a semi-submersible offshore fishery comprehensive platform technology integrating wave energy power generation, aquaculture, tourism and communication.

 The institute has continuously built the 10-kilowatt concept prototype "Eagle-Style-1", the 100-kilowatt engineering prototype "Wanshan" and the 260-kilowatt offshore movable energy platform "Pilot No. 1", breaking through the series of problems that large-scale floating wave energy devices on the sea cannot generate power stably for a long time, and completing the transformation of the Eagle-Style-Steel-Steel-Steel-Seawater Desalination System from test prototypes to engineering prototypes. The built offshore wave-light-storage-seawater desalination system has completed grid-connected power supply technology verification on remote islands and reefs.

 It is reported that after the intelligent breeding platform floats up, it can be towed, repaired, maintained, cage cleaning and disinfected, and breeding can be carried out after diving. Its technology is world-leading and has been authorized for invention patents in China, the EU, Japan and Canada.

  On June 30, 2019, with the support of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Guangdong Province, my country's first semi-submersible wave energy breeding tourism platform "Penghu" was completed, and was put into the Zhuhai Raidia Island Aquaculture Fishery of Guangdong Dalinyang Marine Biological Co., Ltd. in August of that year.

  "Penghu No."Design life span is 20 years, and it is expected to be able to recover money in three or four years, which has good economicality. At present, Guangzhou Energy Research Institute has obtained multiple orders and completed the final design of multiple semi-submersible wave energy breeding tourism platforms of different sizes and different breeding scales.

Marine breeding tourism to help ecological circulation

  The reporter saw from the video taken by the drone that the "Penghu" was floating like a square "artificial island" on the vast outer Lingdingyang. On the two basketball court-sized platforms, huge and deep cages are connected to the sea water, and white golden pomfret and brown grouper each occupy one of them, swimming freely; the "Sun"-shaped deck is stable and spacious, equipped with wave energy and solar power generation equipment and energy storage devices, and the energy is completely self-sufficient.

 It is understood that the "Penghu" is 60 meters long, 28 meters wide, 16 meters high, and has a working draft of 12 meters. It uses a steel structure and a soft net to form a breeding water body, which can provide 15,000 square meters of aquaculture water body; the platform has 20 people's living space, and has 300 cubic meters of storage space, which is self-sufficient in energy, and all comes from renewable energy.

  At the same time, the platform is equipped with seawater desalination, sewage treatment, water heater, air conditioner, freezer and other living equipment. The breeding system is equipped with modern fishery production equipment such as automatic bait feeding, fish school monitoring, water quality monitoring and live fish transmission. It is an intelligent large-scale modern ecological marine ranch complex platform.

  "The trial fish species did not suffer from any fish disease." Li Bin, an experimenter on the "Penghu" introduced that the "Penghu" has successfully completed the trial breeding of two varieties in two seasons. The first season is to try to raise gold pomfrets, and fish will be released before New Year's Day 2020. The fish are bright in color and strong in size. The wholesale price per kilogram is 4 yuan higher than the traditional cage fish price; the second season is to raise grouper, and it is currently growing well and will be sold soon.

  Li Bin said that the 15,000 cubic meters of aquaculture water provided by "Penghu" can cultivate a maximum of about 300 tons of ordinary fish. After testing, all the fish farmed in "Penghu" have achieved excellent results, which basically verified the advantages of large water farming in open sea areas.

  "Practice has proved that the platform has successfully achieved safe production under harsh sea conditions." Wang Zhenpeng introduced that the "Penghu" device has been continuously operating for more than one year, and has experienced multiple storms in two summers and a frontal attack of a typhoon of level 14. The device anchored firmly in the storm and monitored normally. There were no accidents of breaking nets or running fish, and no deaths of fish in the cage occurred, which protected and protected the fishing company's fish assets, fully demonstrating the feasibility and reliability of the application of this technology to the deep sea.

Chen Jingliang, a second-level inspector of the Guangdong Provincial Department of Natural Resources, said that marine ranches and offshore wind power, wave energy and other clean energy, as an important part of the marine economy, are of great significance in improving the national dietary structure, protecting the offshore ecological environment, promoting energy structure adjustment, and promoting supply-side structural reform and the transformation of new and old kinetic energy.
