With improved performance, it can load 4 Tianjian II air-to-air missiles at the same time. With air defense every second, it has become the first choice for Tianju troops.
In recent years, the People's Liberation Army "frequently harassed" Taiwan's air defense identification zone in the southwest corner. On March 31 last year, two J-11s took off from Fuzhou and crossed the middle line of the strait from Taiwan Beach southwest of Penghu; in February this year, the People's Liberation Army aircraft crossed the middle line of the strait for the second time on the grounds of long-distance voyage training.
Before Tsai Ing-wen met with U.S. Health Secretary Azar on August 10, more than 20 PLA fighter jets went out to sea for training, one of which crossed the center line and flew straight to the east at one point.
The Taiwan Air Force Command stated on the same day that the J-11 and J-10 aircraft belonging to the PLA Air Force briefly crossed the central line of the strait at around 9 a.m. that day. In addition to the full monitoring of the ground air defense missile, the Air Force also broadcasted warnings as soon as possible, and used air reconnaissance patrol forces to drive away strongly.
