2021 MotoGP 12th stop race, held this week (August 27-29) at Silverstone, UK. In
MotoGP level, Italian driver Valentino Rossi had a good performance in the qualifying race. He ran the fastest lap of 1 minute 59.531 seconds in Q2, and ranked eighth in the official race.
MotoGP level competition, the schedule is 20 laps, and the conversion is about 118 kilometers. After the competition officially started, Ross, who had a good start, won the sixth place. In the following laps, he chased his opponent between seventh and eighth places.
But after a few laps, Rose, who used medium-hard tires to race, had a grip problem with the rear tires at a lower temperature (the outdoor temperature during the competition was only 17 degrees Celsius and the track road temperature was only 24 degrees Celsius), which kept his position falling backwards. In the end, Ross won the 18th place in the game. After the
race, Ross said, "What a pity, because I felt very good about racing all weekend and it was very fast. (When it was time to race) I had a good start and first lap and I was in a place where I could fight. However, after six laps, I had a grip problem on my rear wheel, which slowed me down. This happens sometimes to us, I tried a lot of ways, but it still couldn't solve it in the end."
" (Such result) is sad because I want to have a decent race at Silverstone because there are a lot of my fans there. I want to thank all of them for their support and I’m glad to be with so many people throughout the weekend, and thank you for your love (to me) over the years."
