China golf has been developing for 38 years. There are less than ten mainland Chinese male players who can set foot in Augusta. Looking back at 2004, when we held the women's competition for the first time, we would never have thought that there would be another moment: because of the excellent results of the Women's Chinese Tour, China's amateur women's golfers greatly improved the world's amateur rankings and therefore went to the world's top stage. The significance of the Women's Chinese Tour platform has added another moment.
Zeng Liqi's invitation was due to her outstanding results in the Women's Chinese Tour last season. Her professional world ranking reached 378, and her world amateur rankings were greatly improved to D36, thus receiving an invitation letter from Augusta. He became the third amateur player to be invited this year after Ye Lei and Yin Xiaowen, and it was also the year with the most Chinese players participating in the Augusta Women's Amateur Championship.
Zeng Liqi is also a representative amateur golfer who grew up on the Women's China Tour platform, and her growth method may be worth learning from.
Born in 2005, she first came into contact with the Women's China Tour was the second-level test match Beijing station in October 2020. Zeng Liqi entered the top ten in that competition.
