[Editor's Note] On October 17, German "Youth World" published a congratulatory letter written by former Prime Minister of Democratic Germany (East Germany) Dr. Hans Modro to the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. As an old friend of the Chinese people, Modro visited China 13 times between 1959 and 2019, witnessing China's development over more than half a century. Not long ago, his book "Praise China" was published.
