　In recent years, Gansu and Taiwan have become increasingly close in cultural tourism exchanges and cooperation, and have become important tourist destinations and sources of customers. The two places have strong differences and complementarity in cultural tourism resources and products. Taiwan is a typical island tourist destination. Famous scenic spots such as Alishan and Sun Moon Lake are very attractive to tourists in Gansu. Gansu has all geological and geomorphological tourism resources except marine islands and reefs. Unique tourism products such as Colorful Danxia, Desert Pass, Glacier Grassland, and Yellow River Stone Forest also attract a large number of Taiwanese compatriots to visit Gansu, experience the unique charm of the golden section of the Silk Road, and feel the unique style of Ruyi Gansu.

　It is reported that, as the largest tourism event in southern Taiwan, the Kaohsiung Tourism Exhibition attracts a large number of people from southern Taiwan and people from home and abroad to visit each year.
