championship 5 million, the first year of professionalization! 2022 is a year of transformation after repeated training.
Since 2006, the Masters have been with all Chinese billiards players, fans and partners for seventeen years. Over 6,000 days and nights, the Masters and Chinese Billiards experienced many challenges and tests together, witnessing each other's growth.
On the battlefield filled with gunpowder, too many stories worth remembering are left behind, either passionate or sad or desolate. Some are crowned with the crown, while others leave sadly. The moments when we raise our arms and cheer or bow our heads witness many boys growing into men, and memories are also engraved as eternal classics.
On the first year of the Masters' professionalization, I think my sister wants to record the memories of the Masters and our seventeen years, and name it "The Masters' Chronicle - Sunny Days", which will be published from today. It will be dedicated to all new and old friends who love, pay attention to and support the Masters' Championship, commemorate our common youth and those passionate years.
Masters Chronicle: Where the dream begins
Our story will also begin from this stage.
I expected "Just hold the competition", but it is not that simple. In the first season of the Black Eighth Rankings, in order to find a hosted ball room, it is no exaggeration to say that Lao Qiao ran all the resources he could find, but unfortunately the effect was not ideal. In that era when sponsors were not available, no ball room was willing to do such a stupid thing as "losing money and gaining publicity".
But fortunately, the world pays off. After several twists and turns, the first "Haichao Qiao's Cup" Black Eight Ranking Competition broke the deadlock in Beijing. Immediately afterwards, the second, third and fourth stops were held in Shenyang, Changchun and Beijing. Shi Xin, Chen Qiang, Li Hewen, and Shi Hanqing, who won the championship, also became the stars that fans paid attention to that year, and their names spread wildly in the streets and alleys.
With regular games to play, the players are happy, the fans are happy, and Lao Qiao is even happier. The number of players coming to participate in the competition continued to surge, and Qiu Paomou, who played snooker, and Dai Yong, who played nine goals, became regular visitors. Dai Yong even won three consecutive championships in one go, and was named "King of Heaven" by fans, and became the most valuable "Black Eight King" at that time.
Under this circumstance, despite the difficulties in organizing the competition, Lao Qiao decided to grit his teeth and persevere. Back then, relevant departments praised the idea of promoting 9-suppressing 8. The practice of promoting 9-suppressing 8 set up many rules and regulations for Chinese eight-suppressing 8, such as the prize money cannot exceed 9 goals, no national team participation, etc., the eight-suppressing 8-suppressing 8-suppressing 8-suppressing 8-suppressing 8-suppressing 8-suppressing 8-suppressing 8-suppressing 8-suppressing 8-suppressing 8-suppressing 8-suppressing 8-suppressing 8-suppressing 8-suppressing 8-suppressing 8-suppressing 8-suppressing 8-suppressing 8-suppressing 8-suppressing 8-suppressing 8-suppressing 8-suppressing 8-suppressing 8-suppressing 8-suppressing 8-suppressing 8-suppressing 8-suppressing 8-suppressing 8-suppressing 8-suppressing 8-suppressing 8-suppressing 8-suppressing 8-suppressing 8-suppressing 8-suppressing 8-suppressing 8-suppressing 8-suppressing 8-suppressing 8-suppressing 8-suppressing 8-suppressing 8-suppressing 8-suppressing 8-suppressing 8-suppressing 8-suppressing 8-suppressing 8-suppressing 8-suppressing 8-suppressing 8-suppressing 8-suppressing 8-suppressing 8-suppressing 8-suppressing 8-suppressing 8-suppressing Despite the negotiations between the two parties, the situation did not improve. The eight balls with the deepest mass base continue to be labeled as "grassroots".
However, the event organizing committee still faced layers of pressure, allowing this sport to enter the gymnasium for the first time, and also allowing Chinese billiards to enter the "Good Hall" for the first time. In the end, the event passed the cradle in a very embarrassing situation.
In 2010, as more and more female contestants registered, the organizing committee decided to add a women's group competition separately. Cao Yangyang, Wu Mengmeng, Fu Xiaofang, Cong Jing, Zhou Zining and others became popular "female stars" in the Chinese eight-ball circle at that time after the "male stars". At the same time, represented by the "Southern Football King" Qiu Paomou and the "Jade-faced Yan Luo" Wang Yan formed a situation where "Southern Xiaoqiu and Bei Wang Yan" were two-legged.
In the same year, Lao Qiao and Da Qiao decided to form a video broadcast team to let more people understand Chinese billiards and participate in this sport. Without experience and capital, just relying on a group of young men, taking advantage of their youth and being rewarded with some talent, they tampered with their parents' opposition, shattered the foolish opinions of society, and completed the first broadcast of Chinese billiards, and the classic games were preserved.
Following the live video, in 2011, the Qiao Billiard Dream Team was established. Three outstanding players, "Billiard Leader" Ma Zhiyu, "Yamen-faced Yan Luo" Wang Yan, and "Billiard Geek" Wang Peng, became the spokespersons of Chinese billiards. They traveled around the world and contributed their own strength to the promotion of Chinese billiards in activities of all sizes.
