Hechi Zheng Clan Ancestral Hall, originally had four entrances and five rooms, and was built during the Tianshun period of Ming Dynasty (1457-1464). After experiencing wars and disrepair, the front and middle halls were destroyed and the foundation was left, and the hall wing room and part of the land were transferred for other purposes. The descendants of the nine natural villages of Zheng and the villagers at home and abroad were lifted and rebuilt in 1990 and completed in 2000. In 2002, a gate and a wall were added. In front of the ancestral hall is a cement yard, the main building is a stone-wood structure, built according to the slope terrain, layer by layer. It faces southeast and has a construction area of 1,061 square meters and covers an area of 1,133 square meters. This old site has certain value for studying the history of the agrarian revolutionary struggle in the region.

In December 2001, the Quangang District People's Government announced it as the first batch of cultural relics protection units.

1931, Li Xiu, an underground member of the Communist Party of China, used the Zheng Family Ancestral Hall to run schools, and used teaching as a cover to educate progressive people and students on Marxism-Leninism theory, and established the Hui'an Special Branch of the Communist Party of China here.

In early July 1932, after Huang Ruhai was appointed as Secretary of the CPC Hui'an County Party Committee, he set up the county party committee's headquarters in the Zheng Clan Ancestral Hall. In November, the Xiamen Central Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China wrote a letter to Hui'an County Party Committee, changing the county party committee to a special branch to lead the Hui'an revolutionary activities. Huang Ruhai was appointed as the secretary of the special branch, the organization committee member Chen Jiangneng, and the publicity committee member Cao Hai. The special branch is still located in the Zheng clan ancestral hall. In 1933, the Hui'an Special Branch mobilized Wuliu and other places to restore and organize the Red Farmers Association, organized a 30-person armed team in Xishan (Nanzhuang), established the Hui'an County Youth Anti-Imperialist League, established the North China Volunteer Army Anti-Japanese Support Association, and established branches in Chengguan, Fengwei and other places to organize and lead farmers to fight against donations and taxes, oppose the Kuomintang's baojia system, etc. It was not until March 1934 that Huang Ruhai was transferred back to Xiamen, and the special branch headquarters was moved to Shuangguipai Village, North Gate, Hui'an County.
