In the women's three-meter board preliminaries that were first held, Chinese players Chang Yani and Chen Yiwen , the two former identities of the Chinese players Chang Yani , advanced to the finals together.

The four-day Diving World Cup has nine competition events, eight of which are Olympic events and one is an additional mixed group event. A total of 60 athletes from 13 countries participated. The most participating athletes were the US team, sending 12 athletes and 10 German teams.
