This boss is an injection mold, the material is PC+30% glass fiber. It used to be 718H, but later it was changed to a high-hardness NAK80, and the mold life was shorter.
718H alloy is 3Cr2NiMo, with a carbon content of 0.33%, and a hardness of HRC34-37. NAK80 alloy is 10Ni3MnCuAl, with a carbon content of 0.15%, and a hardness of HRC37-41.

The strengthening of the matrix structure is not as high in carbon 718H, so its resistance to friction and wear is insufficient, and it is not as durable as 718H with higher in carbon content after use.
