China Henan Talent Recruitment Innovation and Development Conference will be held at Zhengzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center on October 27 and 28, 2018. The theme of
conference is "Gathering talents from all over the world and making the Central Plains more brilliant". It aims to build a talent attraction platform, use policies to attract high-level talents to gather in Henan, create an institutional environment that respects, attracts talents, and makes good use of talents, and creates a new highland for talents in Henan Province.
[65 industries in the province, 5789 enterprises and institutions are coming to recruit talents]
On October 25, a reporter from Henan Business Daily learned from the Henan Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security that at present, a total of 1,340 invited guests and high-level talents have been confirmed to attend the conference. Among them, there are 2 Nobel Prize winners, 51 overseas academicians, 89 academicians of the two academies, 118 overseas experts, Yangtze River scholars, national outstanding young people, and 21 leaders of ministries and commissions and principals of well-known universities.
In addition, as of October 23, the conference solicited job demands from 5,789 enterprises and institutions in 65 industries across the province, including 744 institutions, accounting for 12.85%; 364 listed companies, accounting for 6.29%; 476 state-owned enterprises, accounting for 8.22%; a total of 80,072 talents of various types and 1,629 project demands were provided. Among them, there are 11,037, 14,256, 32,480 and 11,197 respectively in need of doctoral, master, undergraduate and high-skilled talents. Job needs involve 111 majors including medicine, education, science, law, engineering, and computer science. At present, 30,800 people have reached preliminary intentions and 835 talent cooperation projects have been signed.

It is reported that among the participating units, not only colleges, research institutes, and public institutions from all over the province, but also well-known brand enterprises, listed enterprises and many well-capped enterprises in the province will also join the ranks of recruiting talents. Employers involve 19 of the 20 industry categories in the national economic industry classification, basically covering all aspects of the economy and society. Among them, there are a large number of employers in the processing and manufacturing, health care, education, biopharmaceuticals and other industries, all of which exceed 150. The requirements majors cover higher education, clinical medicine, education, linguistics, aerospace, computer, finance, business administration, civil engineering, automation, geophysics, nuclear engineering, etc.
From the perspective of the size and comprehensive strength of the participating units, well-known enterprises account for 81.35% of the total number of participating enterprises. Not only central and state-owned enterprises represented by China Railway Seventh Bureau, China Construction Seventh Bureau, Pinggao Group, Zhengzhou Public Utilities Investment Development Group, Pingmei Shenma Group, China Yituo Group, Zhengfei Equipment, and Zhengzhou Public Utilities Investment Development Group attended the conference; there are also listed companies such as Gree Electric Appliances, Yutong Bus, Yellow River Cyclone, Sanquan Food, Hanwei Technology, Haima Automobile, Xuji Group, Zhongpin Food, Shuanghui Group, Dofluoro Chemical, Yinge Industrial, Bailu Investment Group, Lingrui Pharmaceutical, Rebecca, Bright Dairy, and China Steel Network attended the conference.It involves 54 sub-industry including machinery, electrical, construction, Internet, electronics, medicine, bioengineering, new materials, automobiles, food, education, cultural communication, logistics, printing, and tourism.

The main positions include software development engineer, senior network engineer, artificial intelligence algorithm engineer, big data engineer, mechanical, electrical design and automation engineer, assembly process engineer, hydraulic engineer, instrument engineer, senior electrician, structural engineer, senior milling engineer, senior fitter, civil engineering engineer, metrology engineer, lightning protection technician, engineering cost engineer, first-level construction engineer, etc.
