Red Net Time News April 3 (Correspondent Chen Jian, Liu Hao, Reporter Chen Zonghao) It was the Qingming Festival that all cadres, civilian personnel and employees of the Tianjin Municipal People's Armed Forces Department came to the Tianjin Municipal Martyrs Cemetery to commemorate the revolutionary martyrs, relive the red memories, and carry forward the revolutionary spirit.
During the Qingming Festival, the mountains are green. In front of the martyrs' monument, cadres, civil servants and employees stand in line to present flower baskets to the revolutionary martyrs, and take off their hats to express their griefs. In front of the bright red party flag, they solemnly raise their right fists and review the oath of joining the party; in front of the martyrs' tombs, they present flowers and wipe the tombstones of the martyrs.
Tianjin is a red hot land. There are a large number of revolutionary sites such as the former site of the Red Second and Sixth Corps Command, the former site of the Red Army conquering the Zhongdukou battlefield, the former site of the Red Army 3's Three Block Tianjin Command and the former site of the Soviet government. The older generation of revolutionaries such as He Long, Li Da, Guan Xiangying, Ren Bishi, and Wang Zhen have left many battle stories here. The Tianjin Martyrs Cemetery was built in 2013 and covers an area of more than 550 square meters. At present, there are 7 tomb passages of martyrs and 110 martyrs are buried.
Mu Weifeng, a political commissar of the People's Armed Forces Department of Tianjin, said affectionately: "The revolutionary martyrs have left us precious spiritual wealth. Organizing memorial activities is to warn everyone not to forget history, remember heroes, inherit spirit, and gather the tremendous power of strengthening the army and prospering the army."
