In November 2021, Antu County People's Hospital became a designated medical institution for special medicines in Yanbian Prefecture. The hospital can approve 22 special drugs, including the corresponding "tinib" and "monoantib" drugs used in patients with lung cancer, breast cancer, and colon cancer, and the "tumor necrosis factor-binding protein" drugs used in patients with rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and severe psoriasis. Patients only need to bring their ID card, medical insurance card, laboratory test report, genetic test report and other clinical information, and go to the corresponding department to find a special pharmacist for review and processing, and can be reimbursed directly in the hospital, truly bringing convenience to people with special drug needs.
It is understood that there are more than a hundred people in Antu County with special drug demand.
