She inherited the will of her ancestors to protect the Red Army’s Red Flag, inherited the red gene, told the story of the Red Army, and continued the red bloodline. Li Qingluan's great-grandfather Huang Helin, grandfather Huang Rongqing, and father Huang Guangwen, three generations of grandparents and grandchildren, have been protecting the Red Army Red Flag with their lives for 45 years.

1934, Huang Helin, the great-grandfather of Li Qingluan’s lover Huang Yongfu, risked his life to rescue a young Red Army soldier who was injured and separated in the Xiangjiang Battle. After the injuries of the Red Army soldiers improved, they insisted on finding the troops. Before leaving, they gave Huang Helin a red flag he carried with them, "I will come and take it after the victory of the revolution." This was a heavy instruction, but Huang Helin agreed to the instructions of the Red Army soldiers, and wrapped the red flag layer after layer, packed it in a small wooden box and hid it.

In that war-torn era, hiding the Red Flag of the Red Army undoubtedly took great political risks and could cause death at any time, but Huang Helin's three generations resolutely fulfilled their promises with their lives. Dangers happened again and again: when the local tyrants and evil gentry searched, they hid the red flag in the coffin of the old man; when the Kuomintang army searched, they tied the red flag to an 8-year-old child; in 1944, the Japanese invaded Guanyang, and the Huang family gave up all their property when they were hiding from the Japanese army, but they only brought the red flag with them... The Huang family looked forward to it day by day, month by month, and year by year, hoping that the Red Army soldiers would come back to get the red flag, but unfortunately, the red flag was passed down from generation to generation, but the Red Army soldier never appeared.

Before his death, Huang Helin asked his son Huang Rongqing to save the red flag. Before Huang Rongqing died in 1979, he asked his grandson-in-law Li Qingluan to hand over the red flag to the county armed forces department and asked them to find the soldier.Back then, Li Qingluan donated this precious revolutionary cultural relic to the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Museum for collection. This is how touching story that has been hidden for 45 years. Now, this red flag is lying quietly in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Museum, telling the agreement 87 years ago.

Although the red flag was donated to the country, the spirit of the Red Army and the spirit of the ancestors to protect the red flag with their lives took root in Li Qingluan's heart and could not be forgotten for a long time. In the years that followed, Li Qingluan never forgets the red flag. In 2006, Li Qingluan finally made up her mind to apply to the Autonomous Region Museum for a donated copy of the red flag to be kept in the village.
