html On the 126th, the 2018 Fourth China Celebrity and Filial Piety Culture Forum and the China Celebrity and Filial Piety Award Ceremony was held in Hangzhou. 10 typical and representative figures (organizations) from home and abroad were awarded the "2018 Chinese Celebrity and Filial Piety Figures". Ma Fuxing, a rural teacher without hands, is one of them.1959, Ma Fuxing was born in Xiamaer Village, Handong Township, Huangzhong County, Qinghai Province. He accidentally fell into the kang when he was four months old and almost passed away. "At that time, my mother hugged me and didn't sleep for seven days and nights, and she never gave up on me. Until the eighth night, my lips moved slightly and my mother fed me some milk." Ma Fuxing said that it was this little milk that made him survive, but he lost both hands from then on.
When I was a child, the horse’s revival was unknown where the future direction was. Until he was eight years old, a village cadre came to his family. "The village cadre told my parents that this child was pitiful once and it was not easy to have no hands. No matter what happened, you must let the child study. Only by learning cultural knowledge can you completely change your destiny." Ma Fuxing recalled that it was this sentence that made him know the direction of his destiny.
But Ma Fuxing's mother knew very well how difficult it was for her son to read and write like a normal person. At the same time, because she was worried that her son would be excluded and bullied at school, she was reluctant to send Ma Fuxing to school.
Ma Fuxing, who was eager to go to school, secretly practiced writing with his brother's textbook. He practiced a simple word "big" for ten days. Seeing his son practicing so hard, Ma Fuxing's mother hugged him and cried: "My son may have hope in the future." In this way, 8-year-old Ma Fuxing walked into the classroom.
But Ma Fuxing, who has no hands, wants to read and write like a normal child, and must overcome difficulties that ordinary people cannot imagine. "I never thought of giving up in this process, and the hardships my mother has put in cannot be expressed in words," said Ma Fuxing. After graduating from high school in 1981, with the support of the village cadres at that time, he became a teacher at Xiamaer Village Primary School. This time, it was 37 years.
first came to the podium, Ma Fuxing was the only teacher in the school, teaching all subjects in the sixth grade. Students in a classroom, who often teach second-grade Chinese and third-grade mathematics in one class, but these are not the biggest problems facing Ma Fuxing.
As a teacher, he wrote blackboards, translated textbooks, wrote lesson plans... These seemingly simple things stumped him. A thin piece of chalk can easily break if it is clamped, and it will fall off when it is loose. After a class, the floor is full of chalk, but not many words are written.
In winter, the broken arm with chalk cracked open, and blood slowly penetrated into the white chalk. The upper part of the blackboard was white, and the lower part turned pink. Ma Fuxing's daughter Ma Haihong also took his class. In winter, she saw her father's broken arm cracked, bleeding and writing on the blackboard with chalk. She really felt sorry for her father. In private, she suggested that her father read it directly to her classmates, but Ma Fuxing never agreed.
He said: "I can also educate students by writing myself, so that they can see how teachers overcome difficulties, and how they should solve them when they encounter more difficult situations."
After repeated practice and working hard several times more than ordinary people, Ma Fuxing can gradually write beautiful blackboard writing and make exquisite teaching aids. However, when I gave a text titled " Cuckold Little Hands " to sixth grade students, Ma Fuxing couldn't help but cry, "When I got this book and saw this text "Cuckold Little Hands", I thought I couldn't teach this text to my students well."
" But the children were very sensible, and helped me wipe the blackboard and flip books," said Ma Fuxing. Because of this, he strengthened his confidence in perseverance. For more than 20 years, Ma Fuxing has been a private teacher at Maer Village Primary School, and it was not until 2002 that he became a public teacher.
"When I was a child, I couldn't wear shoes, and the people in the village helped me put on them, but I couldn't button them, and the people in the village helped me. I got too many people's care and help along the way. As a disabled person, the best way to be grateful and repay everyone is to teach the children well and use knowledge to change the fate of more children. "Ma Fuxing said that it is his commitment to the students to stick to poverty-stricken rural primary schools and devote his whole life to education for the rest of his life.
37 years in a rural primary school. Ma Fuxing has taught more than 800 students, more than 30 of whom have been admitted to university. Many students will come back to see him every winter and summer vacation. This is the most gratifying thing about Ma Fuxing. A student admitted to Lanzhou University of Technology sent a text message to Ma Fuxing on Teacher's Day in a certain year, "Teacher Ma, first of all, I wish you a happy holiday. When I encounter difficulties in school, I always think of you, and your courage and strength to overcome difficulties..." To this day, Ma Fuxing still recites this text message word for word.
"It is my mother's love and persistence, which has trained me from a disabled person to a people's teacher. "Ma Fuxing said that his biggest regret in his life was that he failed to hug his mother with open arms, but it is gratifying that he also passed on his mother's love and hope to more children.
"Transfer the warmth of education on the rugged mountain roads and build a palace of knowledge on the lonely plateau. This person who waved the teaching stick with his broken arms was Yugong at the snow-capped mountain, who let his children's dream of studying shine into reality; he was an angel who used warmth to drive away confusion. Thirty-seven years have passed like water, and he cannot get rid of his loyalty to his ideals. His heart is as simple as the soil. The seeds he shed will one day grow into towering trees. "This is the award speech for Ma Fuxing in the 2018 Fourth China Cixi Culture Festival.
