Arizona Tucson Boy Choir (TABC)
How famous is it?
History: Founded in 1939
This children's choir was founded in 1939 and is one of the world's famous children's choirs today. The choir inherits the musical tradition of European boy chorus, combines the musical characteristics of American modern music , especially "Western denim", and becomes the most popular "little messengers wearing jeans" at the concert. Their concerts have a wide range of repertoire selections, including not only traditional Western classical vocal works, but also modern pop music, American Broadway songs and "Western Music".

In Europe and Australia, TABC has become popular with its unique artistic style. TABC's music director is the world-famous Dr. Ackley. As a versatile conductor and manager of children's choral performance arts group, he has received widespread international praise. He received his PhD in Music Arts from the University of Arizona, specializing in music education, vocal and choral conductor. Under his management, TABC has achieved many achievements, including domestic and international concert tours, and has collaborated with the National Symphony Orchestra and Opera Group to publish many popular CDs.
In addition to serving as the director of the TABC Youth Choir, Dr. Ackley also serves as the deputy director of the International Children's Choir Festival and the national honorary conductor. Under his loving leadership, the Arizona Tucson boys choir has flourished to the highest level of artistic expression and humanistic literacy.
