Shenzhen Transportation July 4, 2022 The farthest distance in the world is not to be separated by one side, but I am by your side, but you can’t see me!

The editor is not saying slutty words, I am talking about "Ghost Probe".

The so-called "ghost probe" refers to the phenomenon that pedestrians or other vehicles suddenly cross the blind spots due to the obstructions on the left and right sides of the left and right sides being blocked by obstacles such as buildings, green belts, and other vehicles (including parked and driving). "Two-way rushing" like

is too dangerous! If you don’t want it! In order to avoid the "Ghost Probe" accident, last year, we innovatively launched the "Standard Stop Line" pilot intersection. On the basis of achieving good results, this year, we have made greater moves!

01 Set up "Standard Stop Line" and

"Large Truck Right Transfer Train Sign"

In order to avoid the occurrence of "ghost probe" accidents and eliminate the potential risks of traffic accidents on zebra crossings to the greatest extent, the Luohu Administration Bureau of the Municipal Transportation Bureau and the Luohu District Traffic Police Brigade launched the "Preparation of Early Parking of Large Vehicles on Zebra Crossings" action.

2021 pilot review

Through research, learning from advanced practices in other places, and combining the objective environment and traffic organization characteristics of specific sections, the first batch of "stair-style stop line" pilot intersections in Luohu were innovatively launched, and it was the first to pilot in three sections including Yijing Road, Bao'an South Road, and Xinxiu Road.

This year, based on the current traffic safety situation in Luohu District and the previous pilot work experience, we carried out the setting of step-type stop lines and signs of truck right-hand transfer lines for large trucks through on-site investigation and sorting, for the main roads of large trucks such as large infrastructure construction sites, logistics parks, and freight channels.

02 How is the current setting working?

step stop line

At present, we have completed the step stop line drawing at the intersection of Shennan East Road, the intersection of Honggang and Qingshuihe Road, the intersection of Longyuan Villa, the intersection of Hubei Leyuan Road, the intersection of Bao'an Nanhonggui Road, and the intersection of Wenjindu Port along Henan Road, and the total planning marking line is 451.23㎡.

After the step stop line is marked

·Parking regulations before the step stop line

When there are pedestrians and non-motor vehicles passing by on the zebra crossing, the motor vehicle needs to slow down in advance in the section in front of the grid line and do not drive into the yellow grid no-parking area!

large truck parking signs

At the same time, the large truck parking signs at 18 road intersections, including Yanfang Xinxiu Road intersection, Paiguo Huali Road intersection, Pengxing Liantang Road intersection, Yanhe Paiguo Road intersection, and Paiguo Yijing Road intersection, have been completed, and a total of 21 sets of large truck parking signs have been set up.
