1. Center line
Center line is the line in which the track and field field passes through the east and west directions of the center point. It divides the track and field into two parts.
2.Center of circle
The semicircular track and field field has two centers, both on the longitudinal axis and the distance from the center point is equal. It is the center of the inner protrusion, outer protrusion and each branch line of the curve, and is marked with fixed signs.
3. Straight, curved segment boundary line
straight, curved segment boundary line is a line that separates the straight and curved segments of the runway through the center of the circle, perpendicular to the longitudinal axis. The straight and curved segment boundary lines at the finish line are usually called the first straight and curved segment boundary lines, and then arranged counterclockwise, and are the second, third, fourth straight and curved segment boundary lines in turn. They are the baselines (points) that measure the runway. Therefore, obvious marks are used to mark the junction of the boundary lines of each straight and curved section and the inner and outer protrusions of the runway.
4. Straight section and straight section
straight section refers to the straight runway between two curves. There are two straight sections in the track and field field, one is called the finishing straight section and the other is called the non-final straight section. A straight section length is equal to the distance between two centers. A straight is the sum of a runway extending at both ends of a straight section and a straight section, and it has a part of it overlaps with the curve. The straight road is for use in 100 meters, 100 meters hurdles and 110 meters hurdles . The straight length of the standard semicircular track and field field shall not be less than 140 meters.
5. The lane width and the runway width
lane width refer to the width of each lane, that is, the width between the outer edge of the inner lane line on the inner edge of the outer lane line. The track and field competition rules stipulate that the width of the track is 1.22 meters. Runway width refers to the width between the inner protrusion and outer edge of the runway, also known as the total width of the runway. If there are 8 track and field divisions, the track width is 9.76 meters.
6. Track line
The boundary between two lanes on the -diameter race track is called the lane line. The width of the lane is 5 cm, including within the width of the lane on the inner side.
7. Calculation line
Calculation line is a line that calculates the circumference of the track and the circumference of each branch. It is also called the real running line and is not drawn on the track. The track and field competition rules stipulate that the calculation line of the circumference of the first branch is located 0.30 meters outside the inner protrusion, and the calculation line of the other branch is located 0.20 meters outside the outer edge of the inner branch line.
8. Final line
In the official competition, the finish line of each track race is fixed in the same place, usually the first dividing line, with a width of 0.05 meters, not included in the running range. The IAAF has made unified regulations on the drawing method and color of the marking lines of the artificially synthesized surface tracks, and all standard tracks should be drawn uniformly according to this. In teaching and training, exercises at different distances such as 30 meters, 60 meters, 150 meters, 300 meters are often performed. The starting point of the above exercises can be accurately found on the runway through the position of the railing.
