Fud's house sets a local price record.
Former Queensland Governor Leneen Forde's Gold Coast home was auctioned successfully at a record price.
According to News Group, the Seaview property at 248 Pacific Parade, Ford bought 25 years ago, was auctioned on Saturday morning, attracting many bidders. Queensland Currumbin constituency MP Jann Stuckey bought the property for $3.1 million. Troy Dowker of Mermaid Beach, a real estate agency Ray White, said the price set a new local record. The earlier price record was set in 2004, when the property 252 on the same street was sold for $2.45 million.
