CCTV News reported on March 17 that a one-sided car accident occurred on the afternoon of the Suhua Highway in Taiwan yesterday (16th). A tour bus hit the mountain wall while driving, killing 6 people and injuring 39 people.
The driver of the tour bus who was injured in the accident said that the incident was suspected of "braking failure" at the time of the incident. In order to find out the cause of the accident, the New Taipei prosecutor of Taiwan searched the company of the tour bus on the evening of the 16th and seized relevant data such as vehicle maintenance. Taiwan's highway management department stated that the regular inspection results of the accident tour bus and the driver's qualifications meet the regulations.

According to preliminary investigation, the tour bus caused the accident was 3 years old, the driver had more than 20 years of driving experience, and there were no major violations in the past.
