The results are expected to be released as early as 6 pm.
There are 4 candidates competing for this Kuomintang chairman election. The number of decisions after the lottery is: No. 1 Jiang Qichen, No. 2 Zhuo Boyuan, No. 3 Zhang Yazhong, and No. 4 Zhu Lilun. There are 420 voting stations for the election, and the "Percent Congress" is scheduled to be held on October 31 to hand over the old and new party chairmans. According to the Kuomintang Constitution, the term of office of the chairman is 4 years, so after the new chairman takes office, his term of office will be until October 2025.
Jiang Qichen will go to the Fengyuan District Party Committee in Taichung to vote at 9:30; Zhu Lilun will go to the 25th voting center of New Taipei City to vote at 10:10; Zhang Yazhong will vote at the Jingmeiji Yingmiao Auditorium at 10:00.
The number of electors from the Kuomintang in 2021 and the Huang Fuxing Party Headquarters had a total of 377,711 people.
