Lu Jiakai graduated from the School of Art of Loughborough University in the UK and bachelor's degree in Information Engineering, Chenggong University, Taiwan. He is currently studying at the Taiwan Political University Education Administration PhD. His family business is Taihua Kiln, a famous ceramic factory in Yingge. He has served as a Youth Committee member of the New Taipei City Government, worked in the Economic Development Bureau and the Secretariat, and was transferred to the Information Bureau as deputy spokesperson from August 22 last year.
