Songzhuang Village, Sandu Township is about 20 kilometers away from Songyang County. It is a traditional Chinese village with a history of more than 500 years. Recently, under the planning of a group of young people, a "Graffiti at the entrance of the village" painting exhibition was held for the grandparents in the village. In the words of young people, it was "doing a lovely thing for this group of lovely people." All the works were created by grandparents and those young people. Under the guidance of the young people, grandparents dipped their hands, potatoes, vegetable hearts and tea in pigments, printed their rural memories and rural charm on paper and canvas, and enjoyed a special spiritual feast.

, a local painting exhibition, is eye-catching and attracts many tourists. Next, the works of grandparents will appear on the packaging of postcard and local agricultural products, allowing this warmth and simple beauty to be felt and tasted by more people.

In 2017, Sun Yingying, a native of Shanghai, came to Songzhuang Village and opened a B&B called Taoye . She still remembers that when she rushed from Shanghai to Songzhuang, a small mountain village in southwestern Zhejiang, she got off the bus and happened to see the villagers packing peaches in the pavilion at the entrance of the village. Although he was a raw face, he was warmly treated by the villagers and tasted several fresh peaches that had just been picked from the peach trees.

In the following days, Sun Yingying, his employees and customers traveled back and forth in the narrow village alley every day, watching the villagers sometimes come and go in the fields with their farm tools on their backs, and sometimes busy in front of and behind the house. Sometimes when I meet each other, I greet each other at the top of my voice and ask, "Have you eaten?" Sometimes when it comes to mealtime, the simple villagers invite them to have dinner at home...

Sometimes, Sun Yingying and his employees will invite them to the B&B to drink, sing, and watch movies together. On Father's Day and Mother's Day, lay a bouquet of flowers for them. More often, I put a needle on them to solve the small problems of mobile phones and TVs, and help them sell peaches, peach gum, , dried vegetables and other agricultural products. And they often bring their own fruits and vegetables and firewood they stocked at home to the store.

Gradually, Sun Yingying and the villagers became like relatives. "They feel very friendly like their uncles, aunts, grandparents, and they are like their uncles, aunts, grandparents," said Sun Yingying.

Songzhuang Village, the permanent population is less than 80, and more than 90% are elderly people.

Seeing these situations, Sun Yingying wanted to take these grandparents to do something new, enrich their grandparents’ mountain village life, let them have a different life experience, and add a little fun to their single mountain village life.

Since September, the mountains gradually cooled down sooner or later, and Sun Yingying and his employees began to take action.

Grandma Ye Jinjuan, 73 years old this year, lives next door to "Taoye". Sun Yingying called her "Grandma next door" while shouting with the employees.

The grandma next door has gray hair, two braids tied, and she has a very obvious dimples when she smiles, just like the old "Xiaofang" in the village.

She has one son and two daughters, but neither lives in the village and lives with her grandfather. Grandma is very diligent and takes a hoe to the fields every morning at around 4 o'clock. After working hard for the whole day, I sat under the dark light and used to pouring myself a cup of earth and burning it. As soon as May begins, grandma likes to walk around the village barefoot, which is probably related to her good health.

As neighbors, Sun Yingying and his employees enjoyed all the benefits of grandma: every few days, grandma would give them the beans picked from the ground, amaranth , etc. Therefore, they specially took their grandma to complete a set of fruit and vegetable rubbings, using green peppers, potatoes, cabbage hearts, mushrooms, apples and other fruits and vegetables. The rubbings were their daily life of communicating with their grandma.

The other group was done by grandma with her feet and hands, and she drew the group of geese she had raised. The most powerful one, nicknamed by many viewers, is the main body of the "leader's big brother" and the "leader's big brother" is grandma's broad and warm soles, while the yellow duckbill and duck feet are added by an employee nicknamed "Egg" in the B&B.

"Egg" recalled that when my grandmother heard that she wanted to draw at first, she kept shaking her head, "I can't do it, I can't write, I can't write, how can I draw?" "No, no, no," and later became "Do you still want to draw?" "I won't go out in the afternoon, can I still draw."

Grandpa Ye Guowen is in his early 80s. His tea field is right under the "Taoye" guest room. Guests can often see him walking over and walking over with bamboo baskets on his back.

When "Egg" and colleagues were making perilla rubbings, they suddenly thought that Grandpa Ye could also use his tea to do the same thing. So he sent an invitation, but Grandpa Ye agreed immediately.

They specially chose a rainy day that did not delay Grandpa Ye's work. In a full 5 hours, they completed 4 works. During the whole process, he was so addicted to smoking that he didn't smoke at once.

In Songzhuang, this small mountain village, the only villager in the village with a big back and a smooth hair is Grandpa Mao Zhoufa in the village.

Grandpa Mao has been a barefoot doctor for more than 50 years. In the early years, the mountains were inconvenient, and most villagers sought medical treatment nearby. He often went out with his medicine box in the morning and went to nearby villages for treatment. He came back only after dark.

50 years ago, Grandpa Mao changed three medicine boxes, and the one he had was the fourth one. While discussing what to draw with "egg", he chose the medicine box. He explained that this thing is familiar and can be drawn with old friends even if you close your eyes. So he nagged while painting, teased while painting, and told many stories about seeing the villagers in the past.

counted, a total of 7 villagers participated in the "creation", 6 of which were over 60 years old.

Why is it named "Graffiti at the entrance of the village", Sun Yingying explained that the entrance of the village is the starting point and the must-pass place for everyone to enter Songzhuang Village. All the people, things, things, beautiful emotions and yearning for ideal life in the village begins here.

In the old house No. 61, Songzhuang Village, 25 watercolor, oil paintings and calligraphy works of grandparents are displayed. The preface of the

art exhibition was written by villager Li Wensheng. Li Wensheng is good at writing calligraphy. Sun Yingying asked him to write the preface of the exhibition, and he readily agreed.

Li Wensheng and his wife have been doing timber business in Shanghai for more than 20 years. They have spoken fluently in Shanghai dialect . They are used to putting some sugar in cooking, but they returned to the village to retire in 2017. Why come back? His answer is always simple: because this is home.

's paintings about home and homesickness have attracted many viewers to the exhibition. Ms. Que, a tourist from Shanghai, said that the geese were drawn with their hands very vividly. Visitor Ms. Yu also said that the villagers moved the details of their lives into the painting and presented them with artistic techniques. The style is simple and natural, and "good-looking".

"Grandpas and grandparents don't have any artistic skills, but they are artists in life." Sun Yingying said so. With the guidance and help of the "Momoye" employees, the grandparents moved the details of daily life, which were not daily, to paper and canvas, "simple and beautiful".

She said that the grandparents felt very happy from the initial doubts and shyness to the later initiative to say that it was fun. "Living together, sharing each other's emotions, and giving villagers more warmth is probably the easiest thing for rural latecomers like us to do."

sharing is not just a matter between villagers and rural latecomers.

"Graffiti at the entrance of the village" will continue until the end of November. Interested readers can go and take a look.
