According to a previous report by the Beijing News, 342 Mayday fans purchased tickets to the Mayday Shanghai concert at the end of October and early November from the group leader Yuan through the fan WeChat group. But after that, Yuan started playing "disappearing", and after the concert, the fans were unable to get the ticket. According to statistics from fans, Yuan should refund the ticket price of more than 540,000 yuan, and later the fans collected evidence to report the case to the police.

On November 8, fan Xiaoping (pseudonym) told the Beijing News reporter that the Criminal Investigation Brigade of the Jiaojiang Branch of Taizhou Public Security Bureau has filed an investigation into the matter. Xiaoping said that the police officers in charge of the case said that after preliminary investigation, Yuan's previous family received more than 600,000 yuan in ticket payments, and used all the ticket payments to purchase funds on the day they received. The fund is currently trapped and cannot repay the ticket payments for fans.

Beijing News reporter confirmed from the Criminal Investigation Brigade of Jiaojiang Branch that the police are still investigating and it is not convenient to disclose the specific situation.
