DPP Taipei mayoral candidate Chen Shizhong recently caused a sluggish poll due to multiple controversies, and a latest street poll made in Beitou District, Taipei City, a green camp advantageous constituency, was released, and the results showed that Chen Shizhong was at the bottom again.
Chen Shizhong recently broke out in a series of controversies, especially the media person who supported him, Zhou Yukou randomly broke the news, which made the election worse; and Taiwan's deputy leader Lai Ching-te said at the founding meeting of Chen Shizhong Jingzhong General Assembly on the 1st, which also caused criticism. According to a poll released by TVBS yesterday, the Kuomintang candidate Jiang Wanan ranked first with a support of 40%; the non-party candidate Huang Shanshan was second, with a support of 23%; Chen Shizhong ranked third with a support of 22%.
"Mr. Taoyuan Sun", a self-media person who often conducts street polls on elections, also went to Beitou District to conduct street polls yesterday. The final result showed that Jiang Wanan got 43 votes, ranking first, while Huang Shanshan and Chen Shizhong got 17 votes and 16 votes respectively, ranking second and third.
This result has also caused heated discussion among netizens. According to Taiwan media reports, in response to Lai Ching-te's claim that "Taipei is the beginning of the epidemic", former Taipei City Councillor Luo Zhiqiang pointed out that this move should be because he believed that Chen Shizhong could not be saved, so he simply launched the "abandon Chen Shizhong to protect Zheng Yunpeng".
Luo Zhiqiang said on Facebook yesterday that when the "foresight plan" was launched, "Government Affairs Commissioner" Zhang Jingsen said, "Greater Taipei is wearing brocade clothes and robbing money from the poor"; when the epidemic broke out, the "Ministry of Health and Welfare" said, "Taipei Wanhua is a breaking point"; now even Lai Ching-te has made a shot, saying that "Taipei is the beginning of the epidemic", which shows that the DPP has always made things difficult for Taipei.
