The program brought by contestant Huang Meihua was the female solo "Kinmen March 3", which won the second place in the Miao song group. After the game, Huang Meihua introduced that she would rehearse at home after finishing her farm work every day, and her family was very supportive of her participation in the game. "Occasionally, people in the town will invite me to attend on other festive days." Huang Meihua said with a smile.
"I feel a sense of intimacy when I hear the songs of the Li people. This party is really great." Huang Chenggan from Daben Village, Xiangshui Town followed the rhythm of the contestants on the stage and echoed softly. He said that this is a good opportunity and a good platform to promote Hainan Li and Miao culture, so that Li and Miao children can better understand and learn the customs and culture of their own nation, and deepen their sense of identity and national self-confidence.
Huang Shaoyang from Wanning and Zeng Zhaoqiang from Tunchang learned about the holding of this evening party from a friend, and drove to the competition site specifically from the local area. Although they are not ethnic minorities, they are very interested in the characteristic customs and culture of ethnic minorities. "I came here after I finished my farm work and had a meal, and I was afraid I couldn't catch up." Huang Shaoyang said that although he was a Han nationality, he was particularly interested in Hainan's Li and Miao culture. He usually learned about the characteristics of Li and Miao culture by checking information online and other means.
