However, Lin Jialong's team privately revealed that Lin actually has many non-public schedules, including visiting business tycoons and local people, but most of these people think that Hou Youyi, the mayor of New Taipei , will be re-elected and does not want to offend Hou, so he does not want to meet publicly. On the other hand, Lin Jialong's camp is also afraid that the opponent will be "pulled" after the schedule is exposed.

Another DPP MP believes that the reason why Lin Jialong’s public trip was not only worried about being “pulled”, but also related to “whether there are so many activities to participate in”. In fact, it costs quite a lot of money to hold public sport activities.
