After the conference vote, Li Xiaohong was elected unanimously as the Procurator General of Kunming Municipal People's Procuratorate (according to the law, this appointment must be submitted to the Procurator General of Yunnan Provincial People's Procuratorate for approval by the Procurator General of Yunnan Provincial People's Congress Standing Committee). The meeting fully affirmed the various work and achievements of the Kunming People's Procuratorate in the past five years, and agreed to the 2022 work arrangements proposed by the report and decided to approve the report. During the

meeting, the representatives carefully reviewed the work report of the Kunming Municipal People's Procuratorate. The representatives believe that the city’s procuratorate is loyal to the responsibilities entrusted by the Constitution and the law, fully performs the “four major procuratorial functions” in criminal, civil, administrative and public interest litigation, and has made achievements in maintaining social stability, serving economic and social development, protecting people’s livelihood, and deepening judicial reform.

In 2022, the city’s procuratorate will adhere to the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, thoroughly implement Xi Jinping’s thought on the rule of law, fully implement the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the 19th Plenary Sessions of the 19th Provincial Party Congress, the 11th Provincial Party Congress, and the 12th Municipal Party Congress, loyally support the “ two establish ”, resolutely implement the “ two safeguard ”, strengthen the “four consciousnesses”, firmly adhere to the “ four self-confidence ”, and fully fulfill the responsibilities and missions of serving the overall situation and serving the people’s justice with a high degree of political awareness, rule of law awareness, and procuratorial consciousness. Be the vanguard of the procuratorial work in the province, create a procuratorial brand with provincial capital characteristics, and contribute procuratorial strength to Kunming’s efforts to create a new situation of ecological, international and modern development.
