Property declaration is an important legal system clearly stipulated in my country's Civil Procedure Law. It is a legal obligation that the person subject to execution should fulfill and has legal compulsory force that cannot be ignored. On December 16, Jishou Court took the penalty of detention of Long, the person subject to execution who refused to perform the court's effective judgment and falsely declared property, and fined 1,000 yuan.

In December 2019, the storefront operated by Long and Zeng caught fire, and the items in Zhang's store next door were burned. Zhang sued the Jishou Municipal People's Court and ruled that Long and Zeng would compensate Zhang 100,000 yuan, and the original judgment was upheld in the second instance. After the judgment came into effect, Long and Zeng refused to perform, and Zhang applied to our court for compulsory execution.
Jishou Court delivered the "Property Reporting Order" and "Execution Notice" to Long, ordering him to truthfully report his own property status and informing Long of the adverse consequences of false reporting of the property. But Long was lucky and lied that he had only two cars and 2,000 yuan in cash under his name. After multiple visits and investigations and evidence collection by the executive police of Jishou Court, it was found that there were four actually registered vehicles under Long's name.
According to Article 241 of the Civil Procedure Law of my country: If the person subject to be executed refuses to report or falsely reports, the people's court may impose a fine or detention on the person subject to be executed, his legal representative, the main person in charge of the relevant unit or the directly responsible person according to the severity of the circumstances. Long's malicious concealment of property seriously violated the provisions for the declaration of property execution. In order to maintain the seriousness of the execution work, Jishou Court took judicial punishment measures against him in accordance with the law.
