On the afternoon of November 26, Hudong Zhonghua Shipbuilding (Group) Co., Ltd. and Jiangnan Shipbuilding (Group) Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China Shipbuilding Group, signed a construction contract for two 23000TEU super-large container ships in Taipei City with Evergreen Group .

The four 23000TEU ultra-large container ships in this project are all independently designed by Hudong Zhonghua and undertake the heavy responsibility of building the first ship. This type of box ship is currently the largest ship with the largest loading capacity and the largest load ton in the world. It has a total number of boxes of 23,888 boxes and is equipped with a hybrid Scrubber desulfurization device. It adopts the world's latest green, environmentally friendly, high-efficiency, energy-saving, and safety technology design. Among them, the unique "Hudong Linglong" bulbous bow solution, large-diameter propeller and energy-saving conduits fully reflect the rapid performance and low energy consumption of the ship.
On November 26, China Shipbuilding Group was officially established in Beijing and became the world's largest shipbuilding group.
