On May 21, 2021, the Waigaoqiao Ougao Road Port Area Police Station of Border Port and Shipping Branch received a report from the public that someone stole the gasoline carried in the tanker at the entrance of a petroleum group company in Waigaoqiao Ougao Road Port Area. After receiving the report, the police checked the surrounding public videos and locked the driver of the tanker truck Xiao Li (pseudonym), the safety escort Xiao Wang (pseudonym), and the driver of a silver-gray car He (male, 31 years old), as the suspects.
After investigation, at around 4 a.m. on the 21st, driver Xiao Li drove the tanker out of the company's oil depot and parked the car 50 meters outside the door. He was waiting quickly moved the plastic empty oil barrel and leather pipe from the car. , Zhang was responsible for contacting many internal employees of Xiao Li and Xiao Wang, and He was responsible for selling the illegally obtained gasoline to Yang (male, 54 years old, a driving school instructor), and distributing the stolen money obtained to 20 internal employees of Xiao Li and Xiao Wang. Driving school coach Yang will sell gasoline to driving school coaches and online ride-hailing drivers through personal relationships. Based on this, a criminal gang that colludes internally and externally, interrelatedly steals and illegally sells gasoline goods has been formed.
On the afternoon of June 18, Yang and Zhang were arrested by the police at their respective places of residence. On the morning of June 19, the local police station gathered some drivers and safety officers of the oil company in the name of safety training and education. After on-site legal publicity, 14 company employees including Xiao Li and Xiao Wang pleaded guilty on the spot and confessed that the reason they committed the crime at the company's door was to prevent the company's backend GPS from monitoring the abnormally stranded trajectory of the vehicle. On June 20, the remaining six company personnel involved in the case were arrested one after another. At this point, a total of 23 suspects in the gang were arrested!
At present, Zhang, He and four tanker drivers have been transferred to prosecute for suspected burglary and Yang for suspected concealment of criminal proceeds.
