Taiwan's Democratic Progressive Party authorities, who once claimed to be a "model student of the fight against the epidemic", have recently become dirty and frustrated due to the rapid spread of the new crown epidemic on the island. However, the DPP authorities today (6th) put another face on the United States' announcement that it would donate 750,000 doses of vaccines to the island. When the US vaccine is far from being delivered, when the leaders of the DPP authorities received three U.S. senators on the island, they thanked the Biden administration for "incorporating Taiwan on the first wave of US foreign vaccine sharing list".

However, the DPP authorities are looking far and deliberately interfering with various excuses. In the calculations of the DPP authorities, "rejecting mainland vaccines and welcome American vaccines" means giving the United States a "vote letter". In this context, when vaccines are needed outside the island are provided, the DPP authorities will naturally obstruct the goodwill released by the mainland using excuses such as "unified front division", "doubt of security", and "inconsistent procedures" to "show loyalty" to the United States; and for the US, the DPP authorities have acted as "shaking their tails and begging for mercy" from the beginning, and are very grateful after the US gives a little charity. Taiwan hopes to use this to show the depth of military engagement with the United States, and its intention to "rely rely on the United States to seek independence" is obvious.
However, in the great game of international politics, the DPP authorities are not "chess players" after all, but are just playing the role of "chess pieces". The leaders of the DPP authorities naturally know the cold and warmth.
