Last Friday (November 30), the swimming team did not arrange morning training, and the reporter met Fu Yuanhui at Zhejiang Sports Vocational and Technical College.
is still the " prehistoric girl ",
is still the "Room Girl",
Fu Yuanhui accepted the exclusive interview with this newspaper with a smile on her face.
Facing the slightly dazzling questions of "Guangzhou Loss" and "Variety Show", Fu Yuanhui did not avoid at all, "There is nothing that cannot be asked about, it's all right now."
Review of Fu Yuanhui's 2019, the Qingdao Swimming Championship in March and the Ganzhou Summer Championship in June, she failed in the 50-meter backstroke and 100-meter backstroke, but she encountered a "Waterloo" at the Gwangju World Championship. She admitted that she had never performed so poorly in the World Championships, but after 's ups and downs in 2019, Fu Yuanhui began to become more mature, and she was indifferent to failure, and doing herself well became the word she said.

Q: What did you do after the end of the Gwangju World Championships in July this year?
A: After the World Championships, I returned to Hangzhou for adjustments, because I had a waist injury during the World Championships. When I came back, I took a short vacation for myself while recuperating my injuries and adjusted my health and mentality. Before National Day, we started to invest in this year's winter training.
Q: I was in good shape in the first half of this year, why did I not have the best results when I arrived at the Gwangju World Championships?
A: Indeed, in the first half of this year, from the Qingdao Swimming Championship in March to the Ganzhou Summer Swimming Championship in June, the overall state has been in an improvement state. At that time, I was also very confident in the game. However, when I was preparing for the World Championships in Beijing, I accidentally missed my waist during training. The next day, my waist was sore that I couldn't bend. I was also quite tired all the way to Gwangju. Before the competition, I felt a little more comfortable and I was not too relieved about the pain. As a result, I was eliminated in the 100-meter backstroke preliminaries for the first shot. Immediately after the 50-meter backstroke, after urgent treatment, although it felt a little more comfortable, it still affected my performance. In the entire World Championships, I did not perform at the best level.
Q: In the second half of this year, except for the FINA sub-station competition in Jinan in August, there are almost no competition tasks. Is it earlier than usual to invest in winter training?
A: Yes, this year can be said to be the earliest and most systematic one for me to participate in winter training in recent years. At this time last year, I was still preparing for the Short Pool World Tour Tour in Hangzhou, and so far this year, I have been systematically training for a while. In addition, the recent exposure has decreased, and the burden and pressure on me have also been reduced. At the moment, I am in a very relaxed state and can complete every day of training quietly. This feeling is very down-to-earth.
Q: What goals do you want to achieve this relatively complete winter training this year?
A: This year's winter training is mainly about recovering from injuries and further adjusting one's physical condition. Health is always the first priority. The second is to use winter training to improve your physical fitness, because your performance in this regard has never been particularly good. I hope to make another improvement through this winter training. Finally, a key breakthrough will be made in the specific techniques of starting, turning around, going to the side and swimming in.
Q: There is no need to compare the 50-meter backstroke in the Olympics. Does this have any impact on training preparations?
A: Because the 50-meter backstroke is not an Olympic event, the current training focus is on the 100-meter backstroke. The distance is longer, so the physical fitness requirements are higher. So during the training process, the goals become clearer and the entire training plan is more targeted.
Q: I will be in the Tokyo Olympics next year. Do you have any expectations?
A: First of all, we must complete this year's winter training first, which is the most important thing. Secondly, whether I can go to Tokyo or not has to see my performance in the Qingdao Swimming Championship in March. Of course, I hope that through hard work, I can get a satisfactory answer in Qingdao and get the opportunity to fight for my country. In short, now I am calm and take advantage of the gains and losses, and do what I should do one by one. What kind of results can be achieved will be natural.
